Davao del Norte, officially known as the Province of Davao del Norte, is a province located in the Davao Region of Mindanao, Philippines. Its largest city and capital is Tagum. The province also encompasses Samal Island to the south, situated in Davao Gulf.

Before 1967, the five provinces – Davao de Oro, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental, Davao Oriental – and Guipuzcoa were collectively governed as a single province known as Davao.
