Negros Oriental, officially the Province of Negros Oriental, is a province located in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. Its capital is Dumaguete City, known as the “City of Gentle People.” The province occupies the southeastern part of Negros Island, which it shares with Negros Occidental, another province.
