The Province of Romblon is an archipelagic province located within the Mimaropa region of the Philippines. It comprises several main islands, the largest being Tablas, which encompasses nine municipalities. Additionally, there’s Sibuyan Island, home to three towns, as well as smaller island municipalities including Corcuera, Banton, Concepcion, San Jose, and the municipality of Romblon itself, which serves as the provincial capital. Romblon Province is positioned to the south of Marinduque and Quezon, east of Oriental Mindoro, north of Aklan and Capiz, and west of Masbate. As of the 2020 census, it had a total population of 308,985 residents.
